The National Federation of Hungarian Building Contractors was founded in October 1989. It currently has approximately 250 members. Alongside the most prestigious Hungarian building contractors, numerous small and medium-sized enterprises have also joined ÉVOSZ.
Main tasks of ÉVOSZ:
- Representing the interests of Hungarian building contractors at both national and international levels.
- Fostering the development of professional ties and the exchange of information among member organizations, as well as between Hungarian and international bodies (e.g. chambers, associations, authorities).
- Actively participating in the technical activities of the European Union as a member of international professional associations.
- Providing detailed professional assessments of legislation related to the construction industry and taking the initiative in relevant matters.
- Preparing member organizations to make effective use of opportunities offered by the European Union.
- Promoting the technical and professional development of the construction industry.
